Manage My Health Data Breach
The Manage My Health (MMH) patient portal experienced a cyber security breach on the evening of Wednesday, 31 December 2025. MMH is currently working with Health New Zealand, the National Cyber Security Centre, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner, and external cyber security specialists to investigate the incident. Investigations are ongoing and will be confirmed once the forensic auditing process has been completed. It has been confirmed that Patient login credentials have NOT been compromised. Information in the MMH core module, in respect of appointments, prescriptions in the Health Record function have NOT been accessed and the portal has been independently confirmed as secure.
